At our Abortion clinic in Cameroon, We offer aspiration and medication abortions for people who live in and near Manitoba. At Women’s Health Clinic, medication abortions are available for people who are up to nine weeks pregnant. Aspiration abortions are available for people who are up to 16 weeks pregnant. Family planning clinics also offer counselling to help you decide what is best for you. You may also want to talk with someone close to you who understands how pregnancy and raising a child would affect your life. Carefully think through your choices, which are to:
- Have a baby, and support and raise your child to adulthood.
- Have a baby, and place the baby for adoption.
- And also, Have an abortion.
Note:
These services are often expensive and as such, many poor and rural women are unable to access them.
The costs of safe abortions differ by facility (private or public) and provider. But The costs can range between 10,000 – 20,000 CFA. Generally, a medical abortion costs significantly less than a surgical procedure.
